The TC-820U is a compact and stylish 15 watt stereo audiophile-grade integrated amplifier which uses Tripath's™ highly respected
TA-2024 output chip and digital power processing technology.

This design offers both the audio fidelity of a Class-AB design and the power efficiency of a Class-D amplifier. Class-T operation
produces very little heat, keeping the need for heavy heat-sinking to a minimum while conserving energy and permitting very efficient
battery operation,if desired

The TC-820U small size and 12VDC operation makes it ideal for locations for which larger equipment is ill-suited,such as caravans,
cabins and motor homes. A 12V lantern, car or motorcycle battery can be used in place of the included AC power supply, making
the TC-820U truly portable.

Four line level RCA inputs and one 3.5mm stereo jack are provided along with outputs for speakers (4 -16 ohms) or headphones.
To compensate the wide range of output levels produced by various audio players, TC-820U has a gain control to balance the low
input from mobile player against the 4 line level inputs.

The front mp3 input jack is self-selecting; plugging a mp3 or iPod into it mutes whichever line input is currently playing.
